How to Design Your Own Handwriting Jewelry

Whether it be your own signature or a word from an old love letter, Capsul allows you use any unique handwriting or font to create a custom ring, necklace, or bracelet. Follow these steps to get started:

Step 1: Choose the Handwriting for your piece

Choose a special handwritten memory you’d like to be reminded of each and every day. Need help deciding what to add to your handwriting piece? Here are some of our favorite handwritten memories that customers have used in the past for their own custom pieces:

  • A word pulled from a love letter
  • A child’s name in their handwriting
  • Your signature
  • “I love you” from a child or lover
  • Grandmother’s signature from an old ID or passport
  • Favorite word or mantra in your own handwriting
  • Text logo from a business you’ve started
  • New last name in husband’s handwriting
  • Favorite vacation destination in custom handwriting
  • Instagram Handle or Blog Name
  • A  birth or graduation year in your handwriting or a favorite font

Step 2: Capture a Photo of the Custom Handwriting or Font

You’ll need to submit a photo of your unique handwriting to be engraved or turned into a 3d printed mold. Write out the word or name that you’d like to use and take a clear photo to be uploaded with your order. You can also simply submit a photo of the love letter, passport signature, or whatever document already has the handwriting you want to use on it.

Step 3: Choose a Jewelry Style

Choose a style from our Handwriting Collection to be customized and submit your handwriting photo. On many of our pieces, you can also engrave a special date or word on the inside of the piece, so keep this in mind during the customization process.
